  • 2 tbsp finely chopped green onions (optional)

For the Pillows

  • 2 cans (8-count each) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian style)

Optional Gravy / Sauce

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken Filling

  1. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, softened butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and green onions.
  2. Stir until smooth, creamy, and fully combined.
  3. Set aside.

2. Assemble the Pillows

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll crescent rolls and separate them into triangles.
  3. Add 2–3 tablespoons of chicken filling to the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough gently around the filling, tucking in the sides to seal.
  5. Dip each pillow in melted butter, then roll in seasoned breadcrumbs.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

3. Bake

  1. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the dough is fully cooked.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving.

4. Optional: Make the Gravy

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, pepper, and parsley.
  2. Simmer 3–4 minutes until warm and smooth.
  3. Serve over the chicken pillows.
