Description
These Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll Ups are warm, buttery, and irresistibly sweet with a creamy vanilla-infused filling wrapped inside soft bread, rolled in cinnamon sugar, and baked (or fried) until golden.

For the Cream Cheese Filling
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Roll Ups
- 10–12 slices of white sandwich bread (crusts removed)
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
1. Make the Filling
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Set aside.
2. Prepare the Bread
- Trim crusts off all bread slices.
- Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice until thin and flexible.
3. Assemble the Roll Ups
- Spread 1–2 teaspoons of cream cheese filling on one end of each slice.
- Roll tightly from the filled end to form a cigar shape.
- Brush each roll lightly with melted butter.
4. Coat in Cinnamon Sugar
- In a shallow bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll each buttered roll up in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
5. Bake (Preferred Method)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place roll ups on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake 10–12 minutes, or until golden and slightly crisp.
Alternative: Pan-Fry Method
- Heat a nonstick skillet on medium.
- Add a small amount of butter.
- Cook roll ups for 1–2 minutes per side, turning until evenly golden.
Notes
- For extra crunch, bake an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Flavored cream cheese works great (strawberry, cinnamon, honey).
- Add a thin spread of Nutella, jam, or caramel before rolling for variations.
