  • 4 halibut fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven – Set to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prep halibut – Pat fillets dry and place on the prepared sheet. Brush each with olive oil or butter and drizzle with lemon juice.
  3. Make crust – In a small bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat fish – Press the mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake – Cook for 12–15 minutes, or until the halibut flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden.
