Ingredients
Scale
- 36 Oreo cookies (regular, not double-stuffed)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz green candy melts
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening (for smoother coating)
- 24 red heart sprinkles (or red M&M halves)
Instructions
1. Make the Filling
- In a food processor, crush Oreos into fine crumbs.
- Add softened cream cheese and blend until a smooth, dough-like mixture forms.
2. Shape and Chill
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator (or 15 minutes in the freezer) until firm.
3. Melt the Candy Coating
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt green candy melts with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
4. Coat the Oreo Balls
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted candy using a fork or dipping tool.
- Let excess coating drip off, then place on parchment paper.
5. Add the Heart
- While the coating is still wet, gently press a red heart sprinkle on top of each ball.
- Let them sit at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
