- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent-roll dough
- 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, halved
- 1 Tbsp butter or oil, for scrambling eggs
Instructions
- Preheat & Prep
- Preheat your oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Scramble the Eggs
- In a medium nonstick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Pour in the beaten eggs and gently scramble until just set but still soft.
- Transfer cooked eggs to a clean bowl and wipe out the skillet.
- Arrange the Crescent Dough
- Unroll the refrigerated crescent-roll dough onto a flat surface.
- Separate into 8 triangles, keeping the perforations sealed for sturdiness.
- Layer the Fillings
- On each triangle, place ½ slice of cheddar cheese at the widest end.
- Add a spoonful of the scrambled eggs on top of the cheese.
- Lay one fully cooked sausage link beside the eggs.
- Roll & Seal
- Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle toward the tip, keeping the filling snug.
- Pinch the seams tightly to seal in the ingredients and prevent leaks.
- Optional Egg Wash
- If desired, brush the tops of each roll-up with a bit of the reserved beaten egg for a golden, glossy finish.
- Sprinkle lightly with freshly ground pepper.
