Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare ingredients:
    • If using fresh green beans, blanch them in boiling water for 3–4 minutes, then drain.
    • Toss potatoes with olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Assemble the casserole:
    • In a large bowl, mix sausage slices, seasoned potatoes, and green beans.
    • Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and golden.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle cheese on top and broil for 2–3 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish and serve with chopped parsley or an extra dash of pepper.
