Description

Cherry Cheesecake Dessert Tacos are crispy sweet taco shells filled with a creamy cheesecake filling and topped with luscious cherry pie filling.

For the Taco Shells

  • 68 small flour tortillas
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for extra flavor)

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 225 g (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping (or whipped cream)

For the Cherry Topping

  • 1 can (about 540 g / 21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Taco Shells

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush tortillas with melted butter.
  3. Coat both sides lightly with cinnamon sugar.
  4. Fold over oven rack bars or taco molds.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes until crisp. Cool completely.

2️⃣ Prepare the Filling

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  3. Fold in whipped topping until light and creamy.

3️⃣ Assemble

  1. Spoon or pipe cheesecake filling into cooled taco shells.
  2. Top with cherry pie filling.

4️⃣ Garnish

Add crushed graham crackers or whipped cream if desired.
