Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Mango Layer
- Peel and dice fresh mangoes
- Blend half into a smooth mango puree
- Keep the rest as small chunks for texture
Step 2: Make the Cream Layer
- Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form
- In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla
- Gently fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture
Step 3: Prepare the Soaking Liquid
- Mix mango juice or orange juice
- Add optional flavoring (like citrus zest or a splash of liqueur)
Step 4: Assemble the Layers
- Quickly dip ladyfingers into the soaking liquid
- Arrange a layer in your dish
- Add a layer of cream
- Spread mango puree and chunks
- Repeat layers
Step 5: Chill and Set
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4–8 hours
